Dear Staff,
This year, we will be participating in SafeSchools Minute™, a guided weekly school safety program designed to reinforce practical safety habits throughout the school year.
Each week, you will receive a brief reminder focused on one everyday school safety topic. These reminders are designed to take about one minute to read and will help keep important procedures and expectations fresh between drills and formal training.
SafeSchools Minute™ does not replace our existing policies, procedures, or emergency plans. It is an additional tool to help us remain alert, consistent, and prepared during the ordinary moments of the school day.
There is no assignment or formal training connected to the weekly reminders. Please take a moment to read each one and consider how the topic applies to your role and daily responsibilities.
Our first reminder will be sent next week.
Thank you for your continued commitment to keeping our students, staff, and school community safe.
Sincerely,
Weekly Step: Send This Week’s Reminder
When you are ready, open this week’s reminder and share it through your school’s normal staff communication system.
