Classroom doors should be capable of being secured immediately. Staff should follow the school’s door policy, avoid blocking locking mechanisms, and report hardware problems before an emergency occurs.

This week, please test your door according to school procedure and report any problem before the end of the week.

Check for magnets, obstructions, damaged locks, missing keys, or anything that prevents the door from closing and locking properly.
